Waste Sorter

About the Role

We are looking for reliable and hardworking people to join us.

In this hands on role, you’ll assist with the sorting & handling of waste & recyclable materials at our busy transfer station.

You’ll be part of a team helping keep our site clean, safe, and running efficiently
- contributing directly to a more sustainable community.

Key Responsibilities

Sort waste & recyclable materials by type ( metal, plastic, paper, etc.)

Maintain a clean & safe working area

Operate basic tools and equipment ( training provided )

Assist with general labouring tasks as required

Support truck unloading & material movement on site

Follow all health, safety, & environmental procedures

About You
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
- Safety-conscious with attention to detail
- Previous experience in waste recycling, or laboring is an advantage - but not essential
- Willingness to learn and take direction

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
