**The Role**:
Reporting into the Group General Manager, this roles key priorities will be to:

- Drive and deliver an exceptional billing and collections services inline with best practices
- Reporting on key performance indicators and communicating effectively with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement quality improvement frameworks and support the achievement of accreditation by identifying the department’s quality improvement plan, engaging staff on improvements projects and audits, reviewing relevant policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain a high-performing Billing and Collections department that delivers results and ensures success by visibly leading a values and safety-led workplace culture.
- Provide the team with coaching, mentorship and billing and collection education - to maximise team retention.
- Support our Doctor and Medical Practitioner partners by building and maintaining positive working relationships ensuring that they adopt the hospital’s billing and collections processes.
- Initiate, scope and lead various major initiatives and projects geared at transforming the function and business going forward
- Deliver commercial outcomes and operational efficiencies by leveraging data to proactively identify, maintain and improve hospital billing and collections performance
