Warehouse Trainee

**Job Overview**:
Assembles components and parts to produce LED Lighting products. Also Handles day-to-day operation of the warehouse, as part of the WH team.

**Day to Day Tasks**:

- Assemble various components into finished products to fulfil sales orders
- Organise and store inventory items in proper location
- Process returns
- QC / Test products
- Receive and count new stock
- Pick and pack stock for outgoing orders, despatch orders to customers
- Stocktake counts
- Operate forklift to move / store inventory
- Invoicing sales orders
- Actively promotes a clean, tidy and safe working environment
- Basic cleaning of work area

**Reporting Structure**:
You will be reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager

**Essential Experience and Skills required for the role**:

- Certificate in Engineering Studies
- Must be familiar with basic electrical components & procedures, can wire up products
- Handy - knows their way around a Drill, screwdriver, pliers etc
- Has a high attention to detail and is meticulous with their work
- Time management skills, highly organised
- Fluent in English - written and spoken - excellent communication skills a must
- Customer service skills, able to assist customers with their orders when required
- Physically able to lift items up to 20Kg and can do repetitive lifting
- Has experience of working with couriers and freight forwarders
- Inventory and storage experience
- Decent computer skills, windows etc
- Soldering experience is a plus

**Work Location and Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 am to 5:00 pm AEST
- Australia, Heidelberg West

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $43,295.51 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
