Deli 2ic

IGA Mosman Fresh is seeking to employ a 2IC Deli Specialist to assist manage our boutique Deli.

We are seeking someone who has a real passion for food, an exceptional flare for presentation & display, are customer service orientated & thrive on ensuring high standards are met.

The role is hands on, varied, and includes:

- Assisting the Deli’s Specialist managing the daily operations of our Deli department
- Setting up and maintaining a high standard of display in deli case & hot box
- Cooking and preparation of hotbox daily meal solution
- Preparation of sandwiches, rolls, toasties and salads
- Baking of bread, bread rolls & pastries
- Preparation of school canteen meals
- Leading, guiding, nurturing & developing team members to ensure consistency of offer & department standards
- Overseeing stock levels, ordering and quality of product supplied by suppliers
- Sampling & Promoting lines to customers
- Compliance with Food Safety requirements

The successful applicant may be required to work some evenings, weekends & public holidays. You will also be required to have a high food safety hygiene standard.

2 years prior experience in a deli or café environment is essential. CV’s with references can be sent to the Store Owner - Geoff.

Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
