We are seeking an Apprentice Carpenter/Joiner for an immediate start in Healesville Regional Victoria. AGE IS NO BARRIER. All ages should apply. We welcome all applicants. Must be living near Healesville. Five days per week. We are close to transport. NOTE THAT $5000 IS PAYABLE BY THE AUTRALIAN GOVERNMENT FOR NEW APPRENTICES OVER A TWO YEAR PERIOD. MUST BE AN AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT.

**THE ROLE**

On the job training to learn the skills necessary for carpentry, such as reading blueprints, cutting materials, building structures, and making repairs. The training is full-time and delivered over 3-4 years on the worksite, with assessments to measure knowledge and problem-solving skills.
