An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced finance officer/bookkeeper to join this global consulting firm to provide finance support on a national basis to their diverse clients. You will become an integral member of their dynamic and supporting finance team.

**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Banking Assistance - using various on-line banking platforms
- Monitoring and handling client funds
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Journal entries
- Dividend distributions
- Updating client chart of accounts
- Assisting and monitoring ATO registration and obligations including GST, PAYG, STP
- Draft and lodge BAS
- Assist with statutory reporting
- Various Ad hoc duties as required

**ABOUT YOU**

To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of 3 years' bookkeeping/finance experience as well as;
- Experience working within a professional services firm will be highly regarded
- Proven experience working with external clients/customers
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Intermediate Excel and Word skills, previous experience using Insol6/MYOB will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bookkeeping qualifications highly regarded
