Located in Bayswater, our client provides fixed plant mechanical on site services and also has gearbox overhaul and rebuild facilities. The fully equipped mobile workshops have been developed to be self-sufficient and to improve the efficiency of the on-site services division, minimising down time for customers.

Our client prides their service on the way that their personnel present and conduct themselves on site. Continual training with the Apprenticeship Program, safety training and technical training produces some of the finest tradesman in the industry.

They are now seeking an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter to join the team. The role is quite diverse, operating lathes and mills, as well as fitting gearboxes and working on equipment like crushers and conveyors in both a workshop and site visit capacity.
- Mechanically minded and able to use a range of tools, machinery and equipment
- Possess the drive and determination to complete a nationally recognised qualification in Mechanical Fitting
- Committed to safety
- Keen to learn
- Accurate, with good attention to detail
- A good communicator and team player
- Sound Mathematical aptitude
- Ideally recently completed pre-vocational training or experience relevant to this trade
- Drivers licence
- Be prepared to provide a national police clearance and complete a pre-employment medical assessment (including drug and alcohol screening)
