**The Role**:
An Australian-based IT and Cyber Security consulting firm with over 20 years’ industry experience is seeking a **Cloud Solutions Architect** to lead secure, scalable, multi-cloud solutions for high-profile clients across government, defence, finance, and transport.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Architect and implement Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
- Lead Infrastructure as Code delivery using Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.
- Drive automation and CI/CD optimisation with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline.
- Embed Zero Trust models and compliance frameworks (Essential Eight, IRAP, GDPR, PCI DSS).
- Deliver high-impact cloud migration and transformation projects.
- Mentor engineers and uplift governance via reusable templates and standardised policies.
- Support FinOps and cost optimisation initiatives.

**Skills and Experience**:

- 10+ years in cloud architecture and infrastructure delivery.
- Proven experience across Azure and AWS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks in regulated environments.
- Hands-on expertise with DevOps tools, automation, and observability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Relevant certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-500, or AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
- Baseline security clearance (or ability to obtain).
