**Position Descriptor**:
The role is as a specialist Indonesian language teacher. The ability to plan, deliver and assess a quality differentiated language program for students R-6 in mainstream, special options and Intensive English Language classes is essential to ensure success in this role. The ability to work collaboratively and promote Indonesian language and culture both within the school and promote and support our sister school relationship is required.
A willingness and ability to work collaboratively with specialist team members and whole staff is essential. A knowledge of the Big 6 and understanding of current literacy practices, in particular the Science of Reading is an advantage. A working knowledge of Play is The Way is an advantage. A commitment to behaviour education is essential as is a willingness to engage and support PBL practices.

Classroom teaching R-6 may be a requirement of this position in the future.
