**THE ROLE**
The Manager, Child Protection Litigation Office (CPLO) Operations in the Legal Services Branch provides high-level support to business operations, with particular attention to the overarching management of the administrative and corporate functions of the CPLO.
As the Manager, CPLO Operations for the Legal Services Branch, you will be required to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as alongside the Manager, Business Operations, in providing high-level business operational support to the branch. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the workflow of various sensitive legal matters on a daily basis as well as managing a number of internal operational systems and staff. This position is a point of contact for key stakeholders including the Secretary's office, ministers' offices, senior leadership, other government and non-government organisations and external clients. The Business Operations Team provides administrative, financial and resource management support across the branch, supporting the branch to meet client needs and strategic objectives.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Provide effective leadership and management of a team of administrative staff at the CPLO including maximising their contribution to achieving goals and outcomes and supporting them in their professional development.
- Provide administrative, financial and resource management support at the CPLO and across the Branch as required, including establishment management and recruitment.
- Support the Director of the CPLO in progressing strategic projects and objectives.
