**Join GKR Transport as an Experienced Forklift Driver - Truganina Depot** Are you an experienced Forklift Driver with experience loading and unloading linehaul trucks and working with ugly freight? If so, GKR Transport wants you We're seeking a reliable Forklift Driver to join our Truganina team, full time, Monday to Friday, providing job stability and excellent earning potential. **Key Requirements**: - **Minimum of 2 years’ experience** in a busy transport depot - **MUST HAVE**specific experience with general and "ugly" freight (mandatory). - **MUST HAVE** experience loading and unloading linehaul trucks and mezz deck trailers. - **MUST HAVE** experience with using chains and binders to restrain loads. - Current Forklift License. - Proficient in loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight on flatbed trailers and tautliners. - Experience securing loads and using various restraint methods including straps, dog and chain and binders. - Strong attention to detail, a “can-do” attitude, and commitment to safety and customer service. - Physically fit and willing to assist with manual lifting when needed. - Must pass a pre-employment medical examination, police check, and provide recent work references. **Responsibilities**: - Efficiently load and unload freight, ensuring proper restraint and secure storage. - Conduct checks on load restraints and packaging before transport. - Report any damages to freight or equipment promptly. - Maintain safety standards and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment. **What We Offer**: - Competitive above-award hourly rate. - Long-term job security with a growing national company. - Opportunities for career growth and a positive team culture.
