**The Location**:
A “must do” stop along the Great Ocean Road, Melbourne to Adelaide corridor. Located 45 minutes from cosmopolitan Melbourne this vibrant city is in a fantastic location with great facilities including prestigious private and public schools. There is also a range of attractions and leisure activities for people of all ages such as visiting the local Adventure Park, kayaking local rivers, exploring the rich seafaring history of the area through a large shipwreck collection, trekking the beautiful reserves or witnessing whale migration from the magnificent coastline.
**The Position**:
An opportunity has come up for a suitably qualified and experienced Registrar to join the Emergency Department at this large regional facility. This is a great opportunity to join a high performing team where you will benefit from working directly with consultants. Take advantage of this close contact with consultants to quickly further your skill set through formal and opportunistic teaching opportunities. In this role you will also assist in the co-ordination of the clinical activities within the Emergency Department, oversee more junior medical staff and act as the Head of the Trauma team when the most senior Emergency Department medical practitioner is unavailable.

This is a state-of-the-art ACEM accredited public hospital offering a comprehensive range of medical, surgical and psychiatric services and is the major specialist referral centre for the region. This is a large regional hospital having almost 300 beds and serving a catchment in excess of 110,000.
**To Apply**:
- A minimum of 6 months recent Emergency Medicine experience and you should either currently hold or be eligible to obtain registration with AHPRA.
