About the role

Our Research Agronomist will play an integral role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of the YPAG agronomy team ensuring we provide our farmers with the best technical support and maximising production outcomes.

You will collaborate with industry bodies, suppliers, and the agronomy team to guide program delivery and so you will have a collaborative, relationship approach and be comfortable communicating with a diverse audience.

**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with all elements of managing regional research plots, including design, farm and equipment preparation, seed preparation and mapping.-
- Execute program trials and ensure agronomists are provided with meaningful and timely data-
- Maintain productive relationships with all trial participants including industry bodies, clients, and other external stakeholders-
- Collate trial data and provide accurate and useful summaries of trials-
- Assist with maintenance of trial program stock to ensure that the sourcing and storage of seed, fertiliser, and pesticides are not compromised.-
- Analysis of trial data using ARM software and critical and statistical analysis and presentAbout you- Qualified agronomist with experience managing a trial site and driving program outcomes-
- Team player with great communication skills and a collaborative approach-
- Comfortable with regional travel across SA-
