**Opportunity with CMW Geosciences**

Our team in Sydney is looking to hire a Geophysicist and Engineering Geologist at a graduate level. The role will comprise both field and office work, and have ongoing close collaboration with senior technical staff. Projects you will work on include site investigations, design and reporting of geotechnical projects with the support of other CMW personnel.

Furthermore you will:

- Work with the technical team to develop, provide and promote technical solutions, options and initiatives to meet client needs
- Monitor project progress against budget to ensure cost overruns are avoided
- Prepare for and undertake fieldwork including derivation of engineering geological and geophysical ground models
- Prepare proposals, technical documents and other correspondence
- Ensure the timely delivery of technical output

**Some of the sectors you will be involved working in include**:

- Infrastructure - road & rail
- Renewable energy projects
- Variety of land development projects

**To be eligible we are looking for the following**:

- Qualified Geologist or similar and having some experience working in a consulting engineering environment would be looked upon favorably
- Having some practical experience in geophysics would be ideal preferably between 12 months and up 8+ years
- Good interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is a must
