Care Compass Collective is a small, dedicated disability support provider working across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Tweed Heads. We specialise in psychosocial and mental health support, helping participants live more independently, confidently and meaningfully.
Our approach is person-centred, practical and focused on outcomes. We support what really matters to each participant, whether that is daily living, community access or skill building.
We provide high-quality disability and community support in participants’ homes and in the wider community. Our team works in partnership with each person to build skills, confidence and independence while fostering connection and inclusion.
**About the Role**
As a Support Worker with Care Compass Collective, you will play a key role in helping people achieve their goals, develop life skills and feel more connected to their communities.
Your work will involve providing personalised support in participants’ homes and out in the community. This may include:
- Assisting with daily living tasks
- Accompanying participants to appointments or social activities
- Offering guidance, encouragement and companionship
Every interaction makes a difference, helping participants build confidence, try new experiences and feel a sense of control and independence in their lives.
**About You**
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and caring people who genuinely enjoy supporting others.
Ideally, you will have:
- At least one year of experience in disability, mental health or community support (though we welcome those new to the sector who are eager to learn)
- Qualifications or experience in mental health, psychology, nursing, community services or disability support
- Empathy, patience and adaptability
- Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
You value trust, connection and flexibility in your approach and are motivated to help people reach their goals.
**Requirements**:
- Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Yellow Card (Disability Worker Screening Clearance) (or willingness to obtain)
- Queensland Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
