Exercise Physiologist

**$38.85 - $47.29 per hour**:

**Your Role**

As an allied health professional, you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. This is a great opportunity to work across a wide range of client bases - from needing help with basic equipment, through to home modifications to assist our clients to stay safe in their homes and live as independently as possible.

Your tasks will include:

- Assessment and clinical exercise prescription for chronic disease management and functional ability
- Direct group based therapy classes ie. Hydrotherapy, Balance and Strength and Lungs in Action (Lungs in Action training and experience in hydrotherapy/aqua therapies beneficial)
- Direct and supervise individual exercise prescription
- mostly clients home based
- Experience with Package care, NDIS, EPC and DVA beneficial but not essential
- Manage case load and review existing clients to meet their needs and audit requirements
- Liaise with other Health professionals in overall case management of clients.

**Role Requirements**
- Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
- Current Police Screening Certificate
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current registration with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
- Current Queensland driver's licence
- Good computer & mobile device skills
- Effective communication skills
