**The Client**
Our client is a government agency dedicated to uplifting the safety and protection of our sea environment by administering programs, initiatives and infrastructure which aim to prevent and respond to emergencies and marine pollution. They are responsible for the provision and operation of a network of navigational, distress and communication aids for the safety of vessels in Australian waters. They are also responsible for the development of legislative frameworks and operating systems.

**The Role**

**About You**
Essential criteria
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering information architectures, wireframes, user interface and visual designs, and design asset libraries.
- A strong portfolio of successful user experience projects is required.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting user research and user testing using visual tools, analytics and evidence to map user journeys and drive improvement.
- Demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary teams and building effective stakeholder relationships in a rapid change environment.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate your vision and design recommendations, collaborate with influence and advocate for a user centred design approach.
- Ability to work in an embedded agile delivery team, translating UX strategy and concepts into meaningful and deliverable products.

Desirable criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in a field such as human centred design, behavioural psychology, product/project management, information technology or significant experience in these fields.
- Experience in large scale digital transformations.
