Key essential skills / qualifications required for the position are as follows:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a printing or manufacturing environment
- Excellent electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Diagnosing faults with plant and equipment through examination and testing
- Attend to breakdowns in a timely manner and troubleshoot, repair and test equipment to reduce downtime
- Maintenance of plant and equipment, including moulding machines and control systems
- Keep a register of parts / consumables and ensure critical spares are kept on hand
- Ensure maintenance records are up to date and advise of any issues
- Modifying, adjusting, and correctly setting up of plant and equipment to produce quality products and advising users of correct operating procedures
- Computer skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong ability to use time effectively and prioritise workload
- Great problem-solving / trouble shooting skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
