Principal Program Officer

The Principal Program Officer (Identified) in the Cultural Capability team key responsibilities are:
- Provide high level program management advice and direction in relation to child protection initiatives;
- Undertake high level liaison, consultation and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders towards the development and implementation of program and key initiatives;
- Prepare high quality written material including cabinet submissions, executive correspondence, briefing material, speech notes and information papers relating to programs and initiatives;
- Undertake projects to scope and operationalise the Cultural Capability Strategy with other government departments and mainstream services in sharing the self
- assessment module, Our Journey, My Story;
- Undertake review of the First Nations Council against the Terms of Reference;
- Partner with central business units and regional offices to build and/or enhance the Cultural Capability of all staff. Assist with review of Department's Cultural Capability Action Plan; and
- Support the development of cultural learning modules for both IS&P Brains trust session and departmental development.
