**About the role**:
A Waste Transport Officer at EPA will prevent harm to human health and the environment from the transport of reportable priority waste by ensuring quality waste tracking and use of vehicle permissions by:

- Undertaking Waste Tracker administration functions (manual data entry into Microsoft Dynamics platform, setting up, following well defined processes to amend and cancel Waste Tracker waste records, issuing offline waste records and interstate paper records).
- Supporting our environment protection officers with administration functions for inspections, investigations, including basic data analysis.

**About You**:
You are someone who cares about community concerns and our environment and are pursuing a career in the environment, waste or public service sectors.

To be successful in this role you will be proficient in both written and verbal communication, able to explain complex matters in a simple way. Your curiosity allows you to learn new digital systems and legislation quickly. You are known for your attention for detail and talent for making processes ever more efficient. You're collaborative and helpful, able to positively contribute to a friendly team culture.
