**About Student and Scholarly Services**
Student and Scholarly Services provides student administration and services from recruitment and point of enquiry to graduation. This team also delivers wellbeing and scholarly services to students and staff.
**About the Role**
As the e-Resource Management Librarian, you will work in the Agreements team under Collection Access and Development and manage access to e-Resources to ensure timely content delivery to Library users.
You will be the escalation point of contact for reported access issues from Library staff, academics and students, and liaise with other Library teams and external vendors for resolutions. You will also undertake a variety of projects, events and general duties to support Library services.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and perform a range of complex e-Resource management activities including access activation, ongoing maintenance, licence management, and troubleshooting in accordance with agreed standards and timeframes
- Deliver timely e-Resource content to Library users as part of the acquisition process through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide high-level customer services including monitoring and responding to reported access/authentication issues
- Maintain professional expertise in contemporary e-Resource management, develop streamlined workflows and procedures, and provide relevant training to other Library staff
**About You**
You will have highly developed communication and customer service capabilities, with the ability to liaise with vendors, and internal and external stakeholders.
Your demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to diagnose and provide effective resolutions to access and authentication issues.
You also bring strong organisational capabilities including effective time and task management, attention to detail, a focus on continuous self-improvement, and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
You will also have:
- A tertiary level qualification in a relevant discipline; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training
- Extensive experience in e-Resource management, particularly in access activation and ongoing maintenance, and license management in an academic library setting
- A moderate level of familiarity with analysis techniques to support collection development, including familiarity with data structures and protocols such as COUNTER and SUSHI
- To ensure the University continues to provide a safe environment for everyone, this position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check._
