**Responsibilities**:

- Researching, consulting, analysing and evaluating system program needs
- Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods
- Writing and maintaining program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards
- Writing, updating and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures
- Providing advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities such as financial evaluation and costing for recommending software purchases and upgrades

**Skills**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in IT highly regarded.
- Business orientation with strong IT background.
- 3+ years’ experience in software testing in banking, cards, payments, insurance or financial services environment is desirable.
- Experience in VisionPLUS, CardPac or similar Credit Card processing systems or on payments platforms like SWIFT, New Payment Platform (NPP), ISO 20022, etc.
- Credit card or Consumer Finance experience is good to have.
- Exposure to programming languages such as Cobol, JCL, CMS.
- Experience working with APIs and other technical solutions is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
