The Role

Here at Bentley, we manufacture and distribute a range of milk and milk-based products, made with fresh milk sourced direct from over 30 farms in the Albany, Harvey and Northcliffe regions of south-western WA. The site currently manufactures in excess of 70 million litres a year including the state's number one flavoured milk product - Masters Masters turned 100 years old recently, be part of an iconic, well known WA brand

Bega Group are seeking a Quality Specialist - Systems to join the team This role is responsible for maintaining quality assurance of products, systems or materials to make sure there are no defects, and ensure quality is in line with company or national and international standards, as well as implementing and maintaining effective prerequisite programs.

We are looking for someone who has prior experience in relevant fields and is ready to take on their next challenge and learn and grow in a role.

This is a full-time standard Mon-Fri position with flexible start and finish times.

Responsibilities- Liaise with production staff and senior management and to ensure any quality problems are addressed.- Maintain pre-requisite programs such as pest control, GMP, cleaning & sanitation, hygiene, calibration and allergen control- Continuously improve quality practices and processes, including SOP development and standardisation.- Consumer complaints investigations and RCA/CAPA for complaint handling.- Maintain Quality Systems document control- Drive and maintain Supplier Assurance Program (Incoming goods/Raw Milk)

About you- Experience in Quality in a relevant industry such as Dairy Manufacturing- Degree in Food Science or Engineering desirable-
- Intermediate skills in using Quality Management programs (i.e. SAP/M3 or IRIS)- Eagerness to learn and a reliable team member
