Landside Coordinator

DP World Fremantle has a fantastic new opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the local Fremantle team as a Landside Coordinator and start a new career with a growing and dynamic business.

Reporting to the Landside Superintendent, the successful applicant will be responsible for the planning, execution and efficiency of the terminals road transport interface.

**Key Responsibilities**

The Landside Coordinator position is a key customer service role where the incumbent will be the first point of contact for our landside customers. Key responsibilities include:

- Planning of the terminal’s daily cargo receival and delivery, including the release and management of vehicle booking slots to facilitate productive and efficient landside operations.
- Liaising with the landside customers to ensure that road transport activities are presented to maximise performance in terminal operations.
- In conjunction with the Landside Superintendent, ensure a smooth and efficient landside operations, to meet the needs of our customers and the business.
- Provide high levels of customer service to both internal and external customers and where possible identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and maintain statistical performance data, and assist in setting up new landside customers, as required.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with all customers and key stakeholders.

**Experience, Skills & Qualifications**

To be successful in the role you will ideally have a background the transport industry with strong and management experience with the preferred experience, skills and qualifications including:

- Must have Permanent Residency in Australia and Working Rights for Australia
- A minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar role in the Transport/Logistics industry.
- Excellent communications and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and harmoniously as a part of a team.
- Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment.High level of computer literacy, competent in the use of terminal operating systems and MS Office suite of programs.
