Our client is an AX listed energy solutions company who distribute their products throughout Australia. Currently there is a senior opening for a
**Distribution Manager** to lead a team across road transport to ensure timely delivery of solutions to their client base.

With a focus on safety, business improvement and operational excellence this highly visible role will support the wider business to achieve supply chain goals.

Working closely with a collaborative team your responsibilities will include:

- Safety management
- Contract management and negotiations
- Transport planning long and short term
- Daily management of delivery services
- Sales and marketing strategies
- Lead and motivate a team of circa 100 fleet and transport employees
- Resolve escalated operational issues

This key role will require a manager with a minimum of 10 years’ experience within the transport industry, with a focus on road solutions.

You will be a well organised people manager who will bring a proven track record in driving business objectives and delivering results.

A tertiary qualification in logistics or supply chain would be advantageous together with dangerous goods experience.
