**About our School**:

- Brinbeal Secondary College is one of the newest 7 - 12 Secondary College in Melbourne's west. The school opened its doors to its first cohort of Year 7 students in 2024 to a purpose built, state of the art educational facility.
- At present, the school has just under 200 Year 7 students and will add an additional year 7 cohort each year until 2029 when it will become a 7 - 12 school in 2025 we will have approx. 400 students across year 7 & 8 only.
- There is great excitement in the community about our new school.
- We are also a Supported Inclusion School, providing a range of supports to our students to promote inclusion, wellbeing and learning growth.

- Stage 1 state of the art educational facilities are now complete and includes:
- Administration and Resource Centre featuring modern design and dedicated wellbeing/allied health space with 6 individual therapeutic rooms.

**Selection Criteria**:
SC1 Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain equipment and machinery.

SC2 Demonstrated ability to conduct general indoor and outdoor maintenance and repair tasks in a school context.

SC3 Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise assigned work tasks to meet deadlines.

SC4 Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate and manage the use and maintenance of equipment within the work area.

SC6 Possession of a current Victorian motor vehicle licence. Licences for other vehicles, plant and equipment would be an advantage

**Role**:
**Hours of Work: 8:00am to 3:30pm 2 days per week (this includes a 30-minute unpaid break)**

Attendance may be required for up to 6 days during school holiday periods. A leave purchase or 72.47% of the hourly rate will be paid for any additional attendance undertaken during the school holiday periods.

**Grounds**
- Perform minor landscaping of the grounds
- Check external student seating and play equipment to ensure they are sound
- Clear drains, spouting, gutters and down
