**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Cut, shape, and polish granite, marble, and other stone materials according to design specifications.
- Construct and install new memorials and monuments in a variety of styles and cultural formats.
- Perform detailed inscriptions including hand lettering, engraving, regilding, repainting, and re-leading.
- Conduct restoration, repairs, and cleaning of existing memorials with sensitivity and precision.
- Handle and install stone structures as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of accuracy, quality, and safety.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness in line with WHS standards.
- Collaborate with team members, clients, and cemetery staff professionally and respectfully.

**Skills & Experience**
- Certificate III in Stonemasonry or equivalent trade qualification (or significant relevant experience).
- Two years of relevant experience working with natural stone in a workshop and on-site environment.
- Skilled in hand and machine inscription techniques.
- Strong understanding of traditional stonemasonry methods combined with modern practices.
- Excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Australian citizens and permanent residents will have priority

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
