Dental Assistant/receptionist

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team with an immediate start (Trainees welcome).

Be naturally friendly, bubbly and approachable so you are able to build rapport with patients effortlessly and calm patients' anxiety when needed.

You should be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.

Be willing to complete workplace-based training through Bendigo TAFE to get qualified (Cert III in Dental Assisting)

**Working Hours**:
Must be able to commit to some evening shifts (8pm finish) and some Saturdays.

Minimum 30hrs a week; up to 38hrs available.

Actual shifts are rostered weekly depending on clinicians' appointment schedules.

**Job Scope**:
Make patients feel at ease and comfortable in our clinic.

Assist Clinicians with the days' procedures including set up and shut down of the clinical room.

Assist Clinician in preparing and planning for the days' appointments including reviewing treatment plans and patient histories where relevant.

Clean and sterilize instruments and the surgery following all relevant infection control protocols.

Assist in basic reception functions when needed including checking patients in and out, taking payments, rebooking appointments and answering some phone calls.

Any other ad hoc duties as required for the day-to-day running of the clinic.

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week
