Monash, Australia Monash University Full time

**The Opportunity**

We have an opportunity available for a Research Officer to join the team to support a funded research trial for families with children experiencing developmental regression. The role centres on delivering tailored one-on-one coaching to parents while ensuring sessions follow research protocols. It also involves managing bookings, collecting and analysing data and completing administrative tasks that keep the project on track and compliant with timelines and safety standards.

The Research Officer will also contribute to the refinement of coaching interventions and remain informed about the latest developments in developmental regression research and best-practice coaching approaches through literature review, professional networking and team collaboration. Responsibilities also include preparing reports, contributing to project reviews, and ensuring alignment between research activities and overall project goals. Training and supervision will be provided to ensure adherence to protocols and to support skill development in delivering high-quality coaching services.

We are seeking someone with a tertiary qualification in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology, psychology or a related discipline, with experience on coaching parents or carers. Strong analytical, organisational and project coordination skills are essential, along with proficiency in tools such as REDCap and Zoom.

If you are ready to contribute to research that supports families and informs best practice, we encourage you to apply.

Monash University seeks applicants for this opportunity who are able to demonstrate present valid and current Australian work rights.
