**Let’s talk about the roles and responsibilities**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable **data pipelines**on **Azure Cloud**.
- Architect and implement **data solutions**using Azure services such as **Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL**.
- Optimize **ETL/ELT pipelines**for efficient **data ingestion, transformation, and storage**.
- Develop and maintain **data models**to support business reporting and analytics needs.
- Collaborate with **data scientists, analysts, and business teams**to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Implement **data governance, security, and compliance**best practices in alignment with industry standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot **data workflows**, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Lead a team of **data engineers**, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support.
- Stay updated with the latest **Azure data technologies**and industry trends to drive innovation.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **8+ years**of experience in **data engineering, architecture, and cloud solutions**.
- Expertise in **Azure Data Platform**(Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Azure SQL, etc.).
- Strong **SQL, Python, and Spark**programming skills.
- Experience with **Big Data processing frameworks**and **streaming technologies**(Kafka, Event Hub, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with **ETL/ELT pipelines**, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of **data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)**.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in **agile environments**.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Azure **certifications**such as **Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate**.
- Experience with **ML & AI-based data processing**solutions on Azure.
