**About the Opportunity**
Wagga Wagga Base Hospital, part of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD), is seeking a dedicated and experienced **Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology**to join our dynamic team. **About You**:
You are a passionate and skilled physician with:

- ** Specialist registration** with the Medical Board of Australia in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

- Excellent **communication skills**, both written and verbal, and proficiency in using clinical information systems.

**Duties**:

- Provide specialist obstetric and gynaecological services, including antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and general gynaecology care.
- Supervise and support junior medical staff, midwives, and nursing teams.
- Participate in teaching, training, audit, and clinical governance activities.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement projects.

**Roster Coverage & On-Call**:

- Participate in a departmental roster providing both weekday and weekend cover.
- On-call commitment shared equitably among consultants (currently 1 in X4, negotiable).
- Availability for emergency presentations, theatre lists, and delivery suite calls during rostered on-call periods.
