Your Role

The Project Finance Coordinator supports a number of key initiatives to improve both local finance teams and the broader business functions, across the region and the global. Those initiatives and projects are at various stages of implementation and completion and require specific and defined action, oversight and management from Regional Finance Operations.

**Your Responsibilities**:
Scope of this role is spread across three main four divisions with primary focus on project management:
Projects

Management and coordination with stakeholders on new initiatives and projects to improve the broader finance operations function.

Participate in global discussions for implementation of global solutions (i.e. reporting tools, predictive analytics, dashboards)

Ensure project milestones and goals are successfully achieved in a timely fashion.

Receivables

Oversight and control over the collections of premiums and claim recoveries through coordination with Countries in APAC.

Ensure timely reporting and analysis for
- Ageing Receivables
- Provision for bad debts
- Balance sheet Reconciliations

Accounts Payables

Ensure all countries and business units process payments efficiently, accurately and timely.

Maintain appropriate controls around payment obligation authority. Ensure Industry best practices are followed that are also compliant with general accounting principle and in line with Chubb Overseas General /Asia Pacific regional policies and protocol for accounts payables.

Travel and Entertainment (T&E)

Ensure all countries in the region are compliant with the Chubb Overseas General and Asia Pacific T&E policy.

Provide guidance and assistance on Concur (T&E system). Ensure appropriate controls are in place and assist with escalation of any system related issues to relevant departments.

Shared Services Unit

Oversight and coordination with Finance & Accounting function of Chubb’s offshored services to ensure the proper functioning of all Finance processes.

Monitor Capacity & Service level agreements & ensure issues are promptly addressed and teams are appropriately resourced.

Regularly review processes to identify opportunities to be transitioned to CBS and work closely with the countries to ensure successful implementation.

**Qualifications**:
Your Skills & Experience

Recent degree in Business/ Commerce/ Economics/ Accounting

Interest in Finance and Operations and working with offshore and onshore teams

Strong and proficient written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully engage with stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal, time management and organisational skills

Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Flexibility to travel interstate and/or overseas.
