**About the role**
You will ensure project related inventory and assets are controlled and issued to the appropriate disciplines to meet the demands of the deliverables defined, ensure warehouse areas are organised and assigned appropriately whilst maintaining a safe and healthy 5S environment. The role is to provide end to end support and focus on all materials required during all build phases of the projects, from initial expediting through to issuance of finished goods.

Responsibilites include:

- All goods receipting relating to product development projects
- Material expediting for project development builds
- Kitting and issuance of parts to support prototype builds
- Track material movements to/from the projects and report status to the projects
- Manage dispatch of engineering finished goods and assets to external test customers/users both domestically and internationally
- Maintain database of project built assets and their distribution
- Disposition of obsolete materials
- Track inventory levels and update system records accordingly
- Maintain Max/Min stock levels for consumable parts
- Constantly work to improve processes within material flow to/from projects
- Make suggestions for productivity improvements in the area
- Determine and track warehouse KPIs
- Ensure that facility equipment is properly serviced/maintained through 3rd parties.
- Communicate and collaborate with other team members
- Maintain 5S requirements in the warehouse and R&D areas
- Support closure of HS&E actions within the engineering environment

**About you**
- Driver’s License
- Forklift Operation license
- Min 10 years of experience within a warehouse and inventory environment
- Demonstrated capability for component expediting, ideally in an electronics environment
- Knowledge and experience with methods for process re-engineering.
- Good awareness and understanding of HS&E requirements
- Ability to manage inventory ideally in an electronics component environment
- Experience with business ERP tools
- Experience of shipping requirements both domestic and international
- Ability to analyse data and provide insights from data
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Hands-on and practical approach;
- Enthusiasm and highly motivated;
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints;
- Punctual and a reliable member of the team
- On occasion the ability to travel where required to facilitate the outcomes required in this position;
- Must be eligible to work in Australia.
