Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Assist with payroll, budget preparation, and financial reporting.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Support the medical administration team with financial queries and adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing standards and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain financial efficiency.
- Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
- Proactively recommend and contribute to improvements to financial controls, processes and procedures that meet business and contractual requirements
- Assist with the BAS and Annual Tax return, as required.
- Assist with preparation of financial reports for the organisation in accordance with relevant regulations, standards and contractual obligations.
- Assist with internal and external audit activity.
- Undertake revenue and cost reporting.
- Monitor the book keeping
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplementary Pay:
- Christmas bonus
**Education**:
- Bachelor Degree (preferred)
**Experience**:
- healthcare or medical environment: 2 years (required)
- Best Practice billing software and Xero accounting: 2 years (required)
