**JOB SUMMARY**:
BC Sands Taren Point is seeking an experienced, proactive plant operator. We are offering full time work between Monday and Saturday.

**ABOUT US**:
BC Sands is a large supplier of landscape and building products to trade professionals & consumers through our trade stores and via phone. Located in Taren Point, our business environment is warm, friendly and professional, with a high focus on delivering excellent customer service.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Hands on work
- Actively scheduling and coordinating day-to-day production
- Efficient and continuous running of designated machine
- Utilizing forklift within bagging area (to move pallets, product)
- General machine / bagging area maintenance and cleaning
- Adhere to all safety requirements and procedures set for the site

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Fork licence essential
- Multitasking and prioritizing
- Stamina and ability for manual labour and repetitive work
- Ability to work autonomously
- High level of communication
- Experience working in fast paced environment
- Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills
