**MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIANS - SOCIAL WORKERS or PSYCHOLOGISTS**

**JOB DETAILS**:
We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician in a custodial setting, Psychologist (including Provisional) or Social workers would be considered

**Role details**:

- **Full or part time to be considered**:

- Perform initial assessments to determine best programs and
- Assist clients in establishing goals
- **work therapeutically with clients to reintegrate into the community**:

- Counselling and **therapeutic interventions.**:

- Developing and facilitating group programs
- Training and education of new correctional officers
- Run team and individual training sessions.
- Report wriitng for parole hearings and on-going support within the post release network

**SELECTION CRITERIA**:

- **Psychologists OR Social Workers**:

- Experience in counselling or therapeutic interventions ideally in a custodial setting or with experience of the justice system
- Exposure to **family violence or perpetrators of violence highly desirable**:

- Stong experience of CBT, Clinical Risk assessments and group intervientions highly regarded,
- The ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
