**Job Purpose**:
To serve as a market specialist and divisional expert for their respective industries to develop strategic Aftermarket solutions and support Aftermarket Solutions Representatives (ASR) in the field and contribute to the Division’s business and long-term leadership position.
**Job Duties**:
This role is a key interface between RISST Regional Sales teams, the Dealers and the Product Groups. Primary Interface: Global Product Managers, Dealer Industry Sales Managers, Dealer Commodity Specialists, Regional Product Marketing Teams and Resource Industries Product Managers.
The Aftermarket Services Consultant holds a pivotal role in ensuring alignment between Caterpillar and the Dealers in terms of Aftermarkets Services, Services Growth strategic plans and RISST.
The role is clearly recognized as an expert in the GET business segment and is focused on the WesTrac WA, and Dealers in India and China.
**Duties Include But Not Limited To;**
- Provides Commercial Support:
- Identify aftermarket issues and develop strategies to overcome them regionally. Support the execution of growth and turn-around plans.
- Make market driven recommendations on parts targets and growth strategies across multiple industries to achieve revenue targets regionally.
- Support the development of defined marketing programs with the industry to achieve RIAS plans & volume targets, POPS-C objectives and net price realization regionally.
- Collect Voice of Market input with the industry group and VOC from regional field.
- Lead analysis of industry key competitors’ regional merchandising strengths, weaknesses and strategies.
- Develops regional go to market merchandising programs and ensure consistency with merchandising program objectives.
- Support development of GET CVA’s.
- Support dealer development with training for dealer PSSR.

- Keep up to date with new industry trends, changing technology and regulations affecting the competitive environment.
- Ability to communicate across industry groups, dealer and customer.
- Must be able to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with the appropriate influence and ability to resolve differences.
- Good human relations skills.
- Be responsible for leading special projects of Medium Term/Long Term.
**Required Experience and Skills**:
- Product marketing commercial / technical experience.
- Prior field experience.
- Understanding of the needs of customers, dealers, and industries and product groups.
- A college or university degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience delivering price realization targets, services growth initiatives, managing major accounts, launching new products, and NPI marketing recommendations.
- Demonstrate industry and product knowledge, NPI process understanding, and experience working price/value analysis and disconnects.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Ability to demonstrate organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Build strong relationships to successfully influence others and achieve challenging goals across the global Caterpillar enterprise.
- Position will require extensive travel of up >50%. _
