**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to maintain quality and accurate records of student information
- Participate in meetings about a student and their individual needs
- Ability to assist with the creation of modified literacy and numeracy worksheets and activities
- Demonstrate assistance with the implementation of a student’s Individual Learning Programs
- Organise and collate literacy and numeracy resources
- Work with ESL students to improve their literacy skills
- Ability to assist with the supervision of students receiving disability
- Assist with the creation of classroom displays
- Engage in a variety of educational intervention programs such as MULTILIT and MINILIT

**Skills & Experience Requirements**:

- Ability to with work with individual students to support their specific areas of need in both individual and integrated environments with the aim to increase learning outcomes;
- Ability to assist class teacher with providing students with the opportunity to develop personal, social and independent learning skills;
- Ability to develop student reading, writing and speaking skills;
- Capacity to reinforce appropriate behaviours in the classroom;
- Capacity to assist the class teacher with monitoring and evaluating students' individual education progress.
