Social Media Intern

We are seeking a Social Media Intern to join our exciting start-up business, a mobile app company

The ideal applicant will be energetic, self-motivated, and will have strong organisational skills. This internship will be an opportunity to gain valuable social media and Marketing experience and on-the-job learning.

**Responsibilities**
- Create social and video content to drive growth across social channels, increase brand awareness
- Contribute to the content calendar with social media postings on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Monitor analytics with the rest of the team to identify viable ideas, trends, and growth patterns
- Participate in brainstorms to share ideas, define strategy and be instrumental in bringing them to life
- Some administrative tasks

**Requirements**:

- Must be actively involved with social media channels including Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/TikTok either personally or for business
- Have a passion for the world of PR, social media and digital marketing
- Proficient in relevant social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Proficient in Google Analytics
- A quick thinker and problem solver
- Able to work autonomously and take initiative
- Positive attitude and team player
- Knowledge and understanding of Canva
- Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously without direct supervision
- Experience in using photo editing programs such as Photoshop/Canva/Luminar
- Experience in Video Editing
- Some familiarity with Blogging and Blog Promotion
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to research and gather information

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Temp to perm, Internship
Contract length: 3-6 months
Part-time hours: 10-15 per week

**Salary**: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
