**About this role**
Responsible for delivering strategic and detailed planning services for water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure for the Sydney Water Planning Partnership, and potentially in the future for other projects and clients. This position is to provide a full time co-located resource into the Planning Partnership team in Sydney Water to deliver water planning and modelling services.
**What will I do?**
- Work under mínimal supervision within a defined area of responsibility. This may include being responsible for specific parts of water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure planning projects;
- Manage the quality and accuracy of own and others work. Furthermore, you may be responsible for the development of others through providing guidance, training and feedback;
- Assist in Planning report-writing and business case development;
- Support the Sydney Water team to manage and deliver various projects within their portfolio at the planning phase, with some supervision from more senior team members;
- Represent your team or group at technical meetings, presenting the work that you have undertaken, and you may be involved in activities and initiatives outside of your technical discipline.
**What will I bring?**
- Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering;
- Relevant industry experience in water, wastewater, recycled water infrastructure planning within a consulting business environment;
- Sound technical knowledge of various GIS platforms and working knowledge of Water Services Association of Australia codes including Sydney Water codes is desirable;
- Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
