Change Manager / Federal Government Role / Contract / Hybrid Working

Hays Technology in Geelong are currently partnered with a Federal Government organization located in Geelong CBD, Victoria.
We are seeking to appoint EL1 Change Manager on 12 months contract role with a view of extension. This will be a hybrid role working from home and Geelong office location.

**Your new role**
Reporting to Director - Service, Design & Implementation. In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership and assigned Contractors working within the Work Area.

Key accountabilities:

- Developing, implementing, and evaluating change management activities, plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency’s Change Management Framework.
- Ensuring that change readiness assessments are completed, identifying areas of resistance, and ensuring mitigation activities are in place.
- Identifying, assessing, and reporting change risks or issues.
- Leading the tracking and evaluation of change management activities in the Agency and proposing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Influencing and advising project sponsors on how to effectively manage and implement change.
- Working closely with the project manager and the communication and engagement lead, planning, and testing the effectiveness of the future state operating environment.
- Other duties as required

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Experience working in the financial or government sector is highly desirable.
- Relevant Qualification/ Certification in Change Management / Project Management will be highly regarded.
- Strong communication and stake holder management skills
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills

**What you'll get in return**
This role offers you Competitive Daily Pay Rate of $600/day + Super and Hybrid working with working 2-3 days in Geelong office.
