Join the Healthcare Management Data Science & Insights team in the role as
**Analyst**. Working in a team of curious data professionals, you’ll make a direct impact by delivering analytics and data science solutions to your stakeholders that will contribute to business strategies being achieved.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn from a large team of Senior Data Analysts and Data Scientists while contributing to new initiatives and evolving analytical techniques identified in the analytics roadmap. This is a dynamic team who work flexibly, are innovative and thrive when collaborating.
- This is a permanent full-time position based in our Melbourne offices when you are not working from home. (Bupa offers hybrid working and you can work from the office or at home)_

**How will I help?**
- Draw on your technical skills to provide statistical analysis to solve complex problems across the healthcare space
- Work within the Data Science and Insights team to implement different approaches to problem solving including dashboard design, critical thinking, and statistical approaches
- Compile insights and recommendations into clear, concise deliverables for internal business partners, derive insights from data and communicate those insights to a non-technical audience through presentations and documentation.
- Opportunity to learn and upskill in new capabilities that become available as Bupa transitions its data from SAS to the Microsoft Azure platform

**What do I need?**

As an Analyst you’ll demonstrate proficiency and experience in statistical methods, skills in SQL coding, evolving stakeholder management skills and a curiosity for solving problems through data.
- Technical skills,
- leveraging statistical programming languages - SQL, SAS, R and/or Python for analyses. Experience with SAS highly regarded.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI highly regarded)
- Tertiary qualifications in a highly quantitative field (mathematics, statistics, computer science, machine learning) or equivalent demonstrated work experience
- Structured communication skills to interpret and convey information in a clear, concise way with stakeholders from technical and non-technical background by using data to tell a story
- Business acumen to develop partnerships with stakeholders engaging with curiosity to deepen your business knowledge to innovate ideas to address roadblocks and create opportunities.
