We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Language
Teacher to complement our growing team **"Around Languages"**
**Responsibilities**:
- Follow the "Around Languages Lesson Plan" and deliver an interactive and fun lesson
- Facilitate a positive environment for active learning
- Engage and involve every student throughout the lesson
- Execute educational in-class and outdoor activities
- Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
- Engage with parents at drop off/pick up and create healthy relationships
**Requirements and skills**:
- Proven experience as a teacher or willing to be trained
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate mother tongue speaker (Italian, Spanish, French, German,
Greek), ideally with a teaching qualification
- Well-organized and committed
- Creative and energetic
- Team player
- You must be reliable, able to work without supervision, punctual and have excellent personal presentation
- Good time-management skill
- Strong moral values and discipline
- Permanent Residents or Australian Citizenship holders only
- Working with Children Check
- CPR
- Own transport is essential and willingness to travel to schools/premises
**What makes a Good Teacher?**
Qualities of a good Teacher include having great communication and listening skills. Additionally, effective teachers should share their knowledge with others by being adaptable and showing empathy toward all learners.
**Mother Tongue Speaker** of one of the following languages:
**Italian**
**Spanish**
**French**
**German**
**Greek**
**Schedule**:
- Before and after school hours
- Work during school terms
- Flexible hours and days (Monday to Friday)
