Cake Baker

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to further their career in Cake Making & Decorating.

We are also accepting Le Cordon Bleu students for their Industry Placement and subsequent employment.

**Job Role**:
You will work alongside our BOH team to produce products daily using CCC recipes. This will include cupcakes, cakes, cakepops and meringues.

**Personal Attributes**:

- You must be impeccably presented with excellent communication skills.
- You are reliable, kind, friendly and pride yourself on achieving great results.
- You should have the appropriate Food Safety and Hygiene standards certification.
- You will have good spoken and written English

**Key Tasks**:
**Chef**:

- Follow CCC recipes to make cake batters & buttercream
- Baking cupcakes & cakes
- Piping & decorating cupcakes
- Masking & decorating cakes
- Making simple fondant decorations
- Making meringue kisses & cakepops
- Follow CCC recipes to make chocolate ganache, salted caramel, sugar brittle
- Fulfilling occasional custom cake/cupcake orders

**Administrative**:

- Checking & ordering stock
- Managing workflow as part of a team
- Maintaining food safety standards, hygiene and cleanliness

**Details**:

- Minimum four days per week commitment including one weekend day.
- Shift starts 6am, until approximately midday.
- Salary and days are negotiable based on experience
