The Role

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Implement and manage Aurecon’s Conflicts & Probity Policy.
- Coordinate with project managers/teams to conduct conflicts/probity checks as part of the project tender or other procurement process.
- Lead engagement with Probity and Procurement Manager from government and other clients in regard to conflict and probity manners
- Identify and implement mechanisms during project delivery phase to manage conflicts/probity issues if identified as part of tender process.
- Identify new developments in conflict-of-interest laws, probity procurement practice, ethical standards and requirements with a view to implementing “best practices”.
- Deliver training to Aurecon technical staff on conflict and probity matters as required
- Collaborate with the legal team across ANZ, including other legal related tasks as required from time to time

What we are looking for
- Tertiary qualification in law, commerce, construction or public administration.
- Relevant experience in a similar role, involving legal / audit / procurement aspects
- Experience in procurement processes, ideally public-sector procurement processes, and identifying conflicts of interest in project procurement & delivery
- In-depth understanding of probity issues
- Strong client engagement, negotiating and influencing skills
- Be able to effectively manage competing demands
- Excellent written and personal communication skills
