Sheet Metal Worker

We are looking for a qualified, experienced sheet metal worker to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis + overtime opportunities.

An attractive salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant, based on experience. Salary will be comprised of approximately 3-4 days work during the week and 1-2 days weekend work with associated penalties.

**About you**

You will be a self-motivated professional, able to produce quality work. As an experienced member of our team, you will be hands-on, with high-level technical welding and fabrication experience:

- Competence in sheet metal fabrication
- Stainless fabrication experience
- TIG and Mig welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good communication and problem solving
- Potential to lead projects and teams
- Be able to work unsupervised and get along with others within a team environment
- Site work experience is an advantage
- Forklift and EWP licences are an advantage
- Be reliable and punctual, with a “Can Do” attitude.
- The ability to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency with all tasks assigned
- Non-smoker

Due to the requirements of many of our clients, applicants must have at least 2 Covid 19 vaccinations. They must also have or be willing to receive a Q-Fever vaccination for work within abattoirs.

Davis Welding and Fabrication offers a range of specialised, commercial metal fabrication services.

Our Beenleigh workshop is fully equipped providing metal welding services to clients throughout Brisbane, Gold Coast, and inner Southeast Queensland.

These include the design, manufacture and installation of metal projects including repair and modification of existing equipment.

We have extensive specialization and experience servicing food and beverage processors and all forms of manufacturing.

This includes experience in light sheet metal through to heavy plate, including aluminium, stainless steel, and mild/galvanised steel.

Our workshop is fitted with multiple welding stations, MIG and TIG welding capabilities, and machinery to cut, fold, drill, and punch steel.

We are looking for a dedicated individual that shares our values for quality workmanship.
