Beata Homecare provides home care services to support the independence of clients from various cultural backgrounds in Melbourne.

We are recruiting a **Lifestyle Assistant **to join our lifestyle team to support home care package clients during group activities (in community halls or outings).

This is a part-time position.

Must be available _**Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9:30-15:30.**_

**Role**:
You will commute to our office in Mount Waverley and attend activity centres / bus outings with the Lifestyle Coordinator.
- Work with the lifestyle coordinator to assist delivery of activities
- Personal care assistance
- Assistance with mobility
- Documentation/reporting as required
- Transport clients in 12 seater van with the Lifestyle Coordinator

For this role, you must also be willing to assist to cover for home care shifts in times of need, with the below duties:

- personal care
- domestic support (cleaning, meal preparation, laundry)
- transport in your own car (to appointments, shopping, activity groups)
- in-home respite
- providing companionship

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / Individual Support / Disability
- _**Ability to speak Khmer, Serbian or Dari is desired**_
- Victorian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance (_**must be able to drive 12-seater van)**_
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- First Aid Certificate (within 3 years)
- CPR Certificate (within 1 year)
- Minimum 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccination
