Diploma Educators

As a result, we have been operating for over 22 years and are one of Victoria’s largest Early Years Managers - through 61 kindergartens and Early Learning Centres, ECMS impacts the lives of 6,000 Victorian children each week. You are invited to join us in enriching the lives of children, and their families, alongside our team of passionate educators and mentors through play-based learning programs in our Pakenham Kindergartens. Our centers provide a robust play-based program which promotes each Child’s sense of identity and builds upon their unique interests. Our programs are designed to challenge our children, and support their growth through their own curiosities, and self-paced exploration

We are currently recruiting for 3 part-time, Diploma educator roles & 3 break cover educator roles:
**Role #1**: Lakeside Children's Centre - Mixed age Green group, working 18.5 hours per week across Tuesday & Thursday 8:15am - 4:30pm & Wednesdays 12pm -3pm.

**Role#2**: Pakenham Springs Children's Centre - 3YO Red Group, working 18.5 hours per week across Tues & Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm & Wednesdays 9am -2pm.

**Role#3**: Pakenham Springs Children's Centre - Mixed age Green Group, working 19.5 hours per week accross Monday & Thursday 8am - 4:30pm & Tuesdays 11am - 3:30pm

**Break Cover**: Lakeside Children's Centre - Monday & Wednesday 11am - 2pm - Purple Group

**Break Cover**: Lakeside Children's Centre - 10:30am - 2:30pm - 3YO & 4YO Groups

**Break Cover**:Pakenham Springs Children's Centre - Monday & Thursday 11am - 2:30pm - Silver & Green Group

**What will you do?**
- Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential
- Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff and the local community
- Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation
- Build positive behaviour guidance strategies and provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children's learning
- Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis

**Essential criteria for a Diploma Educator**:

- A Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
- Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard
- Experience working as an Assistant Educator in a long day care service - depending on the needs of the service this can be removed
- Current Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check
- Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
