We are looking for an experienced Cake Decorator to join our team and help us elevate our designs while creating stunning and innovative products that are on-trend.

**Responsibilities**:

- Decorate cakes to meet customer specifications, incorporating detailed designs and intricate decorations such as fondant, buttercream, piping, edible decorations, and more.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, offering suggestions and expertise to bring their ideas to life.
- Create new and exciting cake designs and products that are innovative, trendy, and visually appealing.
- Ensure all cakes are decorated to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
- Stay up-to-date with cake decoration trends, new techniques, and industry innovations.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure that cakes are decorated and delivered on time.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating station and kitchen area.
- Assist with inventory management for decorating supplies and order necessary materials.
- Work closely with the team to fulfill large orders and special requests

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a cake decorator with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Previous experience in a similar role in a bakery or cake business
- Strong understanding of various cake decorating techniques
- Highly creative and able to design cakes based on customer preferences, while introducing new and trending ideas.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce flawless, high-quality designs.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and cleanliness in a kitchen environment.
- Passion for the art of cake decorating

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Cake decorating: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
