**About Us**

Best Stone Benchtop is a leading supplier and installer of premium stone benchtops in Victoria. Located in Dandenong South, we specialize in the fabrication and installation of natural and engineered stone products, including Caesarstone, granite, and marble. We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated **Stonemason - All-Rounder** to join our growing team.

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate and maintain CNC water jet cutting machines with precision
- Read and interpret CAD files, technical drawings, and job sheets
- Fabricate stone benchtops: cutting, polishing, profiling, and gluing
- Conduct on-site installations of kitchen and bathroom benchtops
- Perform accurate site measurements for custom orders
- Operate forklifts for slab handling (must be licensed)
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and follow WHS safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members, apprentices, and clients
- Assist in training junior staff and contribute to workflow improvements.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Stonemasonry (or equivalent experience)
- CNC water jet operation experience (preferred)
- Forklift licence (required)
- Ability to read CAD/CAM drawings and fabrication specs
- Physically fit and capable of lifting stone materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid White Card (Construction Induction)

**Desirable**
- Experience supervising or mentoring other team members
- On-site installation experience in residential and commercial projects
- Background in customer service or client-facing roles
